It is always strongly recommended to replace these as a cheap form of insurance.\u003cbr\u003e\nHead Gaskets. When removing the cylinder heads the gaskets need to be replaced. Once removed these will no longer seal causing coolant and combustion leaks. Further to this it is important to use a quality head gasket. The OEM factory style head bolts are TTY (Torque TO Yield) this means when torqued down the bolts stretch into place. These are a one-time use bolt.
